For several critical reasons, the round metal plate must be installed during the kit assembly process. 
For step-by-step guidance and visual reference, please consult the YouTube video detailing the kit assembly.

Firstly, this component functions as part of the tonearm’s electromagnetic shielding, contributing to proper noise isolation and signal integrity.
Secondly, the supplied screw lengths have been calibrated to account for the presence of this plate.
Omitting the plate may result in excessive screw depth, which can compromise mechanical stability or lead to improper mounting.

- This kit is compatible with all Technics SL-12XX models except for the new GAE, G, GR, and MK7 models.

- Wires are color-coded for easy assembly.

- Possibility of changing the piece's position so that the cables come out where it is most comfortable for the user.

- No permanent modifications are made to the turntable; the mounting is fully reversible.

- Flexible Ground cable included (1,4M).
